Nate Real is Manager of Bowser-Morner's Radon Reference Laboratory, overseeing the operation of the two radon chambers and the internal quality assurance procedures associated with them. Nate joined Bowser-Morner in 2021 after graduating from Purdue with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and was promoted to Manager in 2022. Nate is assisted by Health Physics Society Fellow Dr. Phillip H. Jenkins, who envisioned and designed Bowser-Morner's chambers decades ago.
Nate’s daily operations include scheduling and monitoring chamber conditions to meet client needs and overseeing calibrations, performance tests, and spiking of radon monitors and other exposure devices in the chambers.
In his free time, you can find Nate training at the gym for amateur bodybuilding competitions. He also enjoys watching the NFL and NHL and is an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts.
