Robin Wolfe serves as the corporate manager of  Quality Assurance at Bowser-Morner’s Dayton, Ohio headquarters.  Robin has a BS degree in Biology from the University of Dayton.

Robin began her career with Bowser-Morner as a soil technician in the CMT and Geotechnical Laboratory. In 2010, she was promoted to Geotechnical Laboratory Supervisor. Then, in 2014, Robin moved to the Quality Assurance Department as the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager. In 2015, she was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager.  She is currently a member of ASTM, ACIL, and ASQ. 

Robin is responsible for the design and implementation of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Programs throughout the various field, laboratory and engineering departments at Bowser-Morner.  Her principal duties involve development of quality manuals, standard operating procedures; performing internal audits; maintaining internal training records; evaluation of quality control activities, data review and validation, and implementation of all government, client, and third party (AASHTO, ANAB, US Army Corps of Engineers) accreditation/certification programs.  Corrective Action Responses and Preventative Action Responses are also included with these duties.   She prepares pre-assessment documentation for accreditation body external audits, participates in assessments, and directs and/or completes post-assessment nonconformity responses.  She also directs and monitors Bowser-Morner’s customer satisfaction survey program.

 

Some of Robin’s other responsibilities include development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for field, testing and calibration laboratories.  These SOPs address standard practices for sampling, testing, and calibration methods, data reduction, validation, and final reporting.  She coordinates all analytical, mechanical, calibration and construction materials testing proficiency evaluation studies through proficiency program providers such as CTS, NAPT, ASTM, AASHTO and CCRL.  She reviews the laboratory proficiency testing results, and maintains control charts for these proficiency results.

Robin and her husband John have two adult children; one of whom works at BMI in the Maintenance Department.  She enjoys gardening, concerts, riding her husband’s Harley (as a passenger!), and spending time with family and friends.
