Asif Haider

Civil Engineer – Toledo Construction Services

Asif Haider is a civil engineer with Bowser-Morner’s Toledo Construction Services group.  While new to Bowser Morner, Asif’s ten years spent in study and work has prepared him for his career with the company.

He is a 2018 graduate of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering He majored in Geotechnical Engineering and minored in Water Resource Engineering.  He then arrived in the United States to study at The University of Toledo, where he earned his master’s degree in Civil Engineering in May of 2021.

Asif gained on-hands experience in the field working as a research assistant, an estimator and as a drone pilot for a paving and excavating company.  He also tackled a variety of tasks as an engineer for a company in Toledo:  a bridge demolition planning for ODOT projects and materials testing on asphalt, concrete, and aggregates, including casting, compression testing a slump testing. 

Asif holds professional licenses in Fundamental of Engineering (FE), Aggregate Testing Technician Level I, and is a FAA107 Certified pilot for small UAS.  He is a member of The Order of the Engineer. 

When he’s not working or studying, Asif spends time reading books, watching old movies and listening to Mozart. He plans to gain his Professional Engineering (PE) license in the near future.
