Key Responsibilities:

Work on projects including geotechnical engineering, hydrology, hydraulics and environmental engineering
Assist with Ground water sampling
Assist with Geotechnical Engineering projects
Assist with all other duties as needed

Education and Experience:

Candidate must currently be enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program with a concentration in Geology. Candidate can also be enrolled in a Master's Degree program with concentration in Geology.
 

Skills and Abilities:

Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to collaborate within a team environment.
Basic math skills required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
 

Physical Requirements:

Physical Ability
Stand, walk, push, pull, twist, reach overhead, bending, crawling, climbing; lift minimum of 80 pounds

 

Visual Ability
Visual accommodation necessary for reading instructions/materials necessary to perform functions of job

 

Hearing Ability
Ability to monitor sounds for changes in machine function

 

Work Conditions
Work exposes the employee to laboratory testing devices, dust, soil and other external environment factors
Location: Dayton and Toledo, Ohio
