Bowser-Morner's Subsurface Exploration Department has served individuals, commercial/industrial concerns and government agencies throughout the United States for more than 50 years.
Whatever the application, truck- trailer- ATV-, and skid-mounted auger, rotary, cable tool, and SONIC rigs, of varying design provide the flexibility to perform efficiently and safely in a wide variety terrain under varying subsurface conditions.
A complete subsurface investigation at a site includes the determination of the physical characteristics of soil strata such as composition, thickness, and depth of each soil stratum; moisture content and depth of groundwater; depth of bedrock and geologic history; and engineering evaluation of both soil and rock strata.
A mineralogical exploration includes similar information and can be supplemented by geophysical data. Exploratory depths will vary from surface to 1,000 feet, depending on the information desired.
Crew chiefs have been trained in the laboratory and have a background in soil mechanics. The work is performed with the direct supervision of an engineer with at least a master's degree in soils engineering.
