Ahmad Rashid is Chief Geotechnical Engineer and Manager of Bowser-Morner’s Toledo Engineering and Environmental Services Division. He manages the engineering staff and conducts subsurface investigations for transportation projects, as well as commercial, industrial, marine, municipal, and residential developments. He prepares well thought-out recommendations of pavement, water and sewer systems, and drafts geotechnical reports.
Ahmad also provides foundation evaluations and subgrade improvement recommendations. He has considerable experience with caissons, driven piles, auger-cast piles installation, and field load tests of deep foundations. He is equally experienced working with subgrade stabilization, including; lime, cement and geogrid stabilization.
Ahmad has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Detroit. He is a well-known and respected registered Professional Engineer in the states of Ohio and Michigan.
He is an active member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
