Taha M. Khalaff, PE, specializes in the evaluation of slopes, permanent and temporary earth-retention/shoring design, deep foundation systems, and forensic evaluations of geotechnical/structural related distress to structures. He is proficient in a variety of field related testing including, pile dynamic analysis testing, and deep foundation load tests. Taha has performed numerous geotechnical evaluations and designed various types of earth retention systems and underpinning including sheet pile, soldier pile and lagging walls, and tiebacks. Taha is a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan and Ohio, and has a BA in Civil Engineering from University of Al-Mergib Libya, and Master in Geotechnical and Structural Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.

Taha enjoys projects that challenge him to explore new geotechnical service sectors by doing research and learning about new test methods and practical applications to better pair proposed services with project needs. Solving problems excites Taha by determining what the information, theories, and test results mean; and how it all affects the project and ultimately the client.

In his spare time, Taha enjoys spending time with his family which includes his wife and four children, reading, and watching Europe Soccer Leagues.
