For every ton of coal mined, there is approximately one ton of refuse to dispose of. Our engineers have developed innovative designs for coal refuse and slurry disposal including the largest coal refuse embankment east of the Mississippi. We've also handled numerous surface mine reclamation and mine subsidence projects throughout the midwest.
Additionally, our Consulting Geology Group works with aggregate and mineral producers to develop mine plans.
